Here is another one, in that case, using the saxophone and flute in
classical Indian music. The saxophonist, Dr.Kadri Gopalnath, comes from the
South Indian branch of Indian Classical, called Carnatic music; Pandit Romu
Majumdar, playing the flute comes from North Indian branch, called
Hindustani. The flute has been around a long time, but Kadri is the first
to adapt the sax to Indian classical music:
