Thank you, Sonny, for your answer. You're right, everything that's German, old and hard to find is not necessarily outstanding! The copy I had a look at is mint and the price seems fair. I'll have a second look at it. JM
I'm currently using an Edixa mat reflex with a Zeiss Jena Biotar. Heavy set!

I have several Steiheil lenses,  My Edixa reflex has three, a Regula
King RM  was my second 35mm camera has a fixed lens, and I have
somewhere a wide angle for an Argus c44.

They're all middle priced, serviceable lenses, I haven't shot them in
years, though the ones for the Edixa, I tried on my Sony camera.  It
was OK

I think you can find better LTM lenses at that price.  They are good
lenses but not spectacular.  Just because it is old, German or hard to
find doesn't make it rare.  I'd guess that the VF that comes with it,
just gives you a 35mm view.
