 I found an interesting article on the use of Windows 10 for multiple HDD pertaining to automatic backup of files.

The feature that is interesting is that if you have 2  or more HDD, you can set up an automatic duplicate (or triplicate or whatever) file memory system.  ( read under section called Resiliency)

This would pretty much guarantee that you would never lose a file from HDD failure, as there would be multiple copies automatically generated.
And it looks to be independent of SW used, ..... PS or LR compatible.????
