[Leica] Help cleaning Daguerreotype cover glass

Found a lovely DAG at a junk store mislabeled “tintype”

Image lovely case good

Glass cover dirty

carefully took all apart, Dag now resting in dust proof media box 

Used Windex then good old fashion H20 to rinse

Looks nice going to air for how long before reassembly

Plate is NOT tarnished image superb when I reassemble, what type should I use to prevent off gassing and tarnish
