For my interest, the 47mP Q2 is most interesting.....  ( I am not a S guy...)

Leica has, in the past, shared the sensor among a few models and between series of cameras.  They all topped out at 24mP.  The rumor that there may be a 47mP sensor in Leica's arsenal may mean the M family and the Sl family may be next for the same sensor resolution......  

I could see the sensor of the M11 or SL2 being 47mP.....   That would be very interesting..... The more modern lenses surely could handle the resolution increase...
Now if they would only offer a R lens converter that manipulated the aperture......
