Hi Jim,
Thanks for your comment  and concern. Our feral deer have no natural enemies - except the car -
and over years they have learned, mostly, to steer clear of the metal racers.

PS: Ain’t going out today at all. Like Peter K. we stocked up yesterday and now we are
just going to stay in. Have started the fire - it is still gently snowing. We are waiting for
the wind which if it blows hard knocks over trees which kills our power. The joys of island
living.
