The more I use this Q2 the more I like it. Here are 8 shots taken at a
weekend family brunch. All cropped radically from the full frame; in
general I was 2-3 meters away from the subject.

My sister, Lucille, the youngest of my siblings

My nephew Dan's wife, Grace

My nephew Ethan, who is Lucille's son

My daughter Elizabeth. You've seen pictures of her before

My brother Russell, the oldest of my siblings

My nephew Dan

My nephew Garrett, who is Russell's son

Russell's wife (and Garrett's mother), Beth

I usually try to take full-on pictures of a person looking straight at
me. This was an experiment in whether I could use auto-focus and radical
cropping to take non-intrusive pictures. I sat the camera on the table
in front of me and used the chipping display to know where to point it.
Only Elizabeth even noticed what I was doing.

If it stops raining I will probably go see what this camera will do on
the streets of my upscale little town. Though Leica does claim that the
Q2 is waterproof.
