I first recall this old Snowball Bush in the yard of the old farmhouse 
where we lived in the 1930s.  My mother moved it to town when we moved, 
and my wife and I moved it to Tennessee when we built this house.  So, 
I've known it for more than 80 years.

Today, I spotted the first blooms of the season.
