There were not too many Cheetah sightings, surprisingly, on this trip to
the Masai Mara. Usually they are easily seen as they hunt during the day to
avoid the lions and hyenas, who would otherwise  steal their kill. There
was a deadly alliance of 5 males though, who hinted at a hunt (5 of them
could go after a wildebeest or a juvenile zebra, so it would be worth
watching!), and then sat down and did nothing on two days! It is believed
that they were two sets of unrelated brothers, who got together and formed
an alliance:

The only other Cheetah we saw was a graceful female.

When we first saw her she had been chased and cornered by Topi:
