[Leica] Lens Hood? Problem

We are in NYC for the Photo Expo but we both caught a bad cold from the
taxi driver last week and will probably be vegging out in the hotel until
we feel better.

In the meantime, I'm having a problem with the lens hood for the SL 16-35.
It will not stay on!!  I've almost lost it half a dozen times.  The
slightest touch and it falls off.  Has anybody had this problem with a lens
hood?  Any solutions?
