[Leica] Zenit Leica M 5500 Euros why in the world would I buy one

$5.5k is a lot of money for it, but bear in mind that (a) it's a rumour and (b)
that Leica would be unlikely to co-operate on a project that undercut their
pricing by a whole deal.

I would have thought that the price would have to be sub-$1500 (body only) to
take a decent market share.

One of my first cameras was a Zenit (re-labelled as Praktica) and I have some
very fond memories of it over a number of years.

Unfortunately unless it comes down a long way, I really can't see the point of
buying one as opposed to using a decent Fuji with M-coupler (and yes there IS
such a thing ;-) )
