You can still download the Nik Suite for free from DXO, who purchased it
from Google, and are promising a new version soon. Google bought out Nik
for Snapseed, which they still retain, they never had an interest in the
Nik Suite. Sensibly, they got rid of it to someone for whom it has more
value - a lot of the stuff like the U-Point has already made its way into
DXO's existing offerings. It pays to delve into why companies behave the
way they do!
