Thank you for your comment, I think you have described exactly the diffferences, they produce different image looks and choose one is a question of personal preferences. The way as I work scanning film with Vuescan allows me be very flexible, I have selected the output of my scans in a DNG file, I can of course devope several times the same image and adjust the curves with more precision and flexibility too.

Concerning Capture One, I encourage you to test it the trial version during 30 days, if I can be of  some help don’t hesitate to ask me, in my opinion CO is very intuitive, fast and easy to operate, however  your finalachievement of the colors with your actual software is really great.
