Yeah, Ric, I started to point that out. At least, it was painted. All
of the house and out buildings on the farm where I spent my childhood
were weathered, bare wood, with the old corrugated tin roofs. No power,
no running water, just a path. We did have an Artesian well across the
road. That was what the 1930s were like......
After we moved to town, TVA brought in power, and it was rented out for
several years, but finally burned. I've wondered if power was its downfall.
