[Leica] Computer SSD prices have dropped

SSD ( fully electronic storage devices, like a Hard Disk Drive, but without
the moving parts) have dropped like a tank in the past 3-4 months.
Typically used in Laptop computers or in higher end Desktops, they offer
advantages in access speed and reliability ( bumps make no difference).
Prices on 500GB to 2TB have halved or less. ( smaller SSD are available,
but seem too small to be of practical use).
If you are thinking of upgrading your current HDD, and the size of drive you
may be interested in is in the range noted, it is an excellent time to move
to SSD drives.
Costs ae appreciably more than HDD... HDD = $25 per TB SSD = $200 per TB
