Hi Douglas, Sonny

In the exhibition it was as well a showcase with all the lenses specially adaptetv for Kubrik’s requirements, great and big lenses, great names as Angenieux, Zeiss, Nikkor. It was very interesting and a pleasure see the instruments by Kubrik, yes Barry Lyndon is a great movie, I would like watch it again.

Thanks for looking and commenting

I hated Ryan O'Neal in the part the first time I saw the film on its initial release, but the more I see it the better I like him. The film is an absolute masterpiece of cinematography, and anyone who hasn't seen it should try to do so. It's an excuse to justify buying an even bigger television set in the January sales :-)

The exhibition is plenty of the objects, dresses, projections and many documentation about his movies and life. I’ve found partcularly interesting all the lenses he ordered to be adapted for movie cameras, a lot of wonderful lenses…. Agenieux, Zeiss, Cooke … and also his camera with the famous Zeiss lens F 0,7 he used for the movie “Barry Lyndon”, really amazing !
