Virgil Hoke has owned Waynedale Plumbing Supply in the Waynedale area of Fort Wayne, Indiana since 1950. I made this portrait of him sitting behind the counter of the store last week.

Virgil Hoke, the 84 year old owner of Waynedale Plumbing Supply, sits behind the counter of the store on Lower Huntington Road in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The desk is cluttered with old paperwork and an old manual typewriter sits on a table in front of Virgil.
