Dennis Laney's book mentions a number of M4 cameras 
with the data slot supplied to Zeiss.

Quote: "The serial number suggests it should have been 
an M4 with motor, but it does not have motorisded 
capability, but it does have a slot in the baseplate 
for datastrips, like the MD"
