[Leica] So why are Leica R now worth less than their Minolta parents? $109 R-5 from Roberts on eBay just now

The bodies are going for a pittance as you've noticed.  The lenses are
being devoured by the video community.  Color balance is consistent and
image quality is very high.  So the two element Telyts go for not much but
the Summiluxes don't stay on the shelf.
