[Leica] HELP!!!! - M3 disaster! Advice sought

That's extremely kind of you, Douglas. I have one too, which is also put
away somewhere "for safekeeping", but it is at home. Our return dates
seem changeable at present and, although I would love to have used my M3
I am now resigned to using my Fuji, which I also brought along for the trip.
