Back again, this example is the 21 SA F3.4 at close focus(12 inches) I
think it holds up pretty well for use on a mirrorless camera. What I will
say is that like most older designs the transition to sharpest focus is a
very long smooth place making it difficult to find exact focus. I find
that this is one of the issues preventing people from enjoying legacy
lenses; some of them are very difficult to find exact focus.
On the other hand the old FD mount L lenses snap into focus wonderfully as
do the Nikon ED telephotos.
