[Leica] moving beyond Adobe

I am doing the same....  I started when they were trickling in the X 
trans (Fuji) compatibilities and it's seemed easy to just keep up the 
monthly plan and seems the relative bargain.  I haven't come to depend 
on Lightroom as much as others seem to as my comfort level was with PS 
and some accumulated add-ons for most things.  I have also used Portrait 
Pro for many years.  I started when I was doing many file shots for 
employees and new hires for my pre-retirement employer.  It must be used 
with restraint with subtle settings but was great for quickly getting 
20+ folks into the system at a time with flattering renditions and it 
virtually eliminated blemish spotting and subtle sculpting.  I had many 
positive comments about pictures that "actually look like me"....
