Yes, amazing.....  but you must manually advance the film for each frame conversion with the D850 plus slide/film attachment.

The positive to the Coolscan is that you can (could, it is long discontinued) purchase the roll film attachment or the slide attachment and automate the process....  do a roll of film or a batch of slides with only minor operator interaction ( hopefully none).  For slides, the Coolscan does not require removing the film from the slide frame.

One step forwards in resolution, one step backwards in operator intervention.  Take your pick ( plus a bunch of technical features of a D850 over the scanner).
