Not so sure I communicated properly.. if you use CC, and you do NOT pay, your program is basically useless. It will not work.

If you use ANY of the "perpetual license versions", you get no updates, but you can always use it. Using Adobe Camera Raw, a free program, you can always have camera model updates that will allow you to convert from RAW to some other format, and use your V1.0 of LR to process it...

That’s if you upgrade the camera body Jayanand.I could still run the original LR 1.0 if I kept using the cameras I had at the time.AmitiesPhilippe> Le 19 oct. 2017 à 08:02, Jayanand Govindaraj <jayanand at gmail.com> a écrit :> > Adobe's perpetual licenses required upgrades every two years which cost way> more than what I pay over two years with the Cloud Subscription.> > Ditto for Microsoft Office.> > Economically, the CC is the way to go!> > Cheers> Jayanand> > On Thu, Oct 19, 2017 at 11:29 AM, Frank Filippone <red735i at verizon.net>> wrote:> >> >> >> >> The standalone version of LR Will not be supported after Dec 31.
