Tina- A nurse at my foot drs. office told my to go to the pharmacy and buy inserts for my shoes - the brand name is “Superfeet”. Get the green color. It is a foam pad with the back half (from the middle to your heel) rigid plastic. They are about $40. They helped a lot when I used them in my tennis shoes while playing. The Dr. said the custom made plastic inserts were about $400. Medicare would not pay for them. Good luck.
