[Leica] Help!

Hi, Lug -

I'm in Mongolia, as anybody who follows me on Facebook knows.  I just took
the bottom off of my M240 to download my photos and a black plastic piece
fell out.  It covers a green circuit looking thing.  Here is the photo:

What is it?  It will fit back in but it falls out immediately.  The camera
seems to work without it.
