Indeed. My favourite quote about Lotteries is that it is a tax on those who don’t understand mathematics.
In fact that goes for all gambling on chance.
Gambling can be profitable only for the knowledgeable gambling in fields where their expertise gives an advantage. Horse racing and the stock market for example.
