A firmware update allowed the M(240) to disable video, all the stuff to do video must be built in as it does liveview ;-) I think with this version I may wait for the second/P version unlike my other digital Ms.....

The M9 did about the same number of frames as a 16GB card, the M(240) in my usage does a lot more but the M10 seems to reduce that number. Not an issue but yet another battery size.

Leo - I don’t know about battery life which on the M9 is very good.
