[Leica] Getting ready for the big eclipse

I am getting ready for the eclipse this August.  Finally was able to 
make some reservations for a place to camp.  Last one i saw was 1979 and 
my equipment has changed.  Last time it was easy to get some old x-ray 
plates from my doctor that had large areas of black, but now everything 
is digital.  I am wondering if any of you large format film shooters 
could sell me 4-5 sheets of 4x5  or larger B&W film so I can expose it 
and develop it for filters?  Of if you have any mistakes lying around 
that might work?  The ones i have from the last eclipse are too small 
for my current batch of lenses, so I need to make larger filters.
