[Leica] Scanner advice sought

Yes they have turned away all requests. And I'm appalled at the prices on
ebay for pigs in pokes. Prices are sky high.
SCSI doesn't bother me, as I have an old SP box with all pertinent
connection options available, that ran my two Minolta scanners.
Life sucks. We need a Minolta John Hermanson.

I presume you're speaking of the film scanner. Last I heard, Precision
had the last of the spare parts. But I read they turned away people needing
repair.
If I recall, it is a SCSI machine, and that's a difficult connection to
make with newer computers.
That said, there are a number of Minolta film scanners on Ebay that might
be a better deal than trying to fix yours.
