Subject: [Leica] Bar Marsella

This bar was very famous and popular on the 80’s and 90’s, it is in the heart of El Raval, in times where prostitution was very extended on this area, that Bar was like a Music Hall, with very special artists and atmosphere, in that years it was in Barcelona several similar Bars and Music Halls…. unfortunately at that time I do not shoot pictures, I feel intimidated by the ambient…., I really regret it!!!! but I have at home several books of excellent photographers of that times.

Few days ago I was walking in El Raval and I’ve found the Bar open during the day, what it is very rare, I took this picture and others to come

Maybe you can still smell the Absenta in the ambient….
