[Leica] Bookstore Cat

Hi Chris,
I'm very sorry to hear of your physical situation. BUMMER! :
After I sent my post I thought of what the cat may do?
That was if you could get down to floor level. :-( That it would run right over and begin rubbing his head on your camera or hand? With our cats (5) that was always a challenge that required patients and often one of my kids helping. OR?
Best time? Right after they've had a big meal and are more inclined to just lie about.
cheers,
ted

If I were to do that, I would need someone to pick me up. I suffered a
stroke in 2013 and just plain don’t have the physical capability to do
things like that. The right side of my body has almost no strength! Last
time I got on my belly was at home, trying to find something I dropped
under my desk and I couldn’t get up. My son and one of his friends had to
pick me up.

At the bookstore, there was no one who could help me; my son wasn’t with
me and the store’s owner is a man my dad’s age who just had a hip replaced!

I think I’d have a hard time getting the pic anyway, even if I could get
down there and get back up safely. This cat was DYING for attention, and
when I sat on a chair to try to get a lower pic, every time she would run
to me and begin rubbing my legs. Took her a long time and a lot of petting
to get her to go back to ‘work’ doing her usual 'watching over the store'
routine.
