[Leica] Koyambedu

Koyambedu is the wholesale market for fruits, vegetables and flowers in
Chennai. It was built on what was the outskirts of Chennai 20 years ago,
and is one of Asia's largest, sprawling over almost 300 acres. The City has
expanded to the extent that the complex is now well within the municipal
boundaries. fairly central!

I went for a photo walk there with a few friends and both my sons on Sunday
morning. Despite a truckers strike, it was bustling as usual. To start
with, I am posting a series of B&W portraits and studies of those who work
there. All these photographs taken with the Nikon D800E with the AFS Nikkor
85mm f1.8G:
