[Leica] Leica does not deem the M a professional system?

Only large Leica lenses I know of with a big badge are the 280/2.8 Apo and the APO Modular range - was it black or beige?

Incidentally, I saw a large Leica badge on a large lens sticking out of a cluster of photographers at the start of the Singapore grand prix yesterday. 
I found it hard to believe, and wound the segment back, but the camera wasn't visible. I meant to take a screen shot of it later and post it here with a query, but life intervened....
