I promised these months ago, so... A few shots (mostly of people) as the Tour de France passed nearby in the summer. These were taken on the approaches to Gordes on the way to Mont Ventoux, about an hour before the crash after which Froome started running up the mountain...

Eventually they are sighted after many people have been standing for hours is 35C+

Finally the Tour passes in a flash and I only got time to get a decent shot of the peloton

Your comments and constructive criticisms are as always welcome.

I have a question for you guys: the images have been shrunk to fit the gallery requirements. The originals are pin-sharp, but on my screen the gallery images look far from sharp. Is it my screen? the gallery? or the shrinking process?
