I went out to shoot the Supermoon yesterday. This is the best I could do with a Micro 4/3 camera fitted with a 150mm lens. The image was only a bit larger than a period on the sensor.

Incidentally, I have a bit of proprietary interest in the Moon photos. After ducking bullets in the Korean War I worked in the aerospace industry for 14 years. NASA rewarded the early pioneers of the moon landing program, including me, by naming minor features of the lunar landscape after us. I am told that there is a small depression on the moon named the Zeitlin Crater near Mare Nectaris. I tried to find it once but it is far too small to be seen with the naked eye. It's probably just big enough to hold a tea cup full of water. There are tens of millions of craters on the moon.
