[Leica] sensor corrosion

To be clear... the "sensor" is not affected.  It is the coating on the cover
plate of glass over the sensor that is the problem.  

Apparently Kodak and Leica selected a (Schott) cover plate that has a
coating on it that corrodes.

I do not know if any other camera maker selected a similar glass plate
coating.....

This was all documented in the past, and I believe the last time I tried to
find the info, it had been expunged.
