[Leica] brain dead M-D

My lowly Fuji X cameras have a menu setting for "high performance" that 
precludes the auto shut-down, and eats batteries.  I'm OK with turning 
the camera on again when I want to shoot.  It doesn't seem like much of 
a sacrifice.
