Clever idea. Seems a bit crudely executed. He doesn't say anything about bit depth or resolution. One of the joys of an M is its compact size, I guess the large base is a result of the electronics/battery.

What would be really cool would be if he could get a deal with someone to provide it commercially to M users - after it has been refined
(quite) a bit.
