Hi Tina,
Now your "Families of Abraham" is a wonderful documentary without question!
Beautiful photos with short cut-lines. GOOD ON YOU!!!!!!

You "the photog" were physically there but the people didn't see you because
you were silent with nothing more than "dynamic observation" and a quiet
click of a LEICA!
The most important part? "Keeping ones mouth shut, but for the once in
awhile almost silent click of a Leica!" You have a cross-section of lenses
allowing you to reach into the scene without the subjects being the least
bit aware you are taking their photos. Your movements are carefully chosen
not to create the least amount of visual distraction as you move carefully
about the room. And finally you have a wonderful understanding of using
available light!

I would say quite similar to Lluis in Barcelona in how he makes himself
invisible when standing but several feet from his subjects! Amazing to watch
and admire him click away and the subjects rarely if ever make any point
he's but a few feet away from them!
This documentary of yours is an incredible learning project for many of the
crew who's photography is but a series of one photo a week or so. Of course
they expose more than one frame, but of the same object/subject/whatever?
But not telling a story with photos.
Well done girl looking through a series on the same subject and observing
the telling of a story can be so inspiring! Wonderfull!!
cheers,
Ted Grant OC
