[Leica] IMG: Terra Firma!

Hi Jim,
I did my one and only first and only parachute jump solo a couple of days
after my 65th birthday! :-)

"UNREAL BEAUTIFUL!" The jump master yelled "GO!" And out I went into the
wild blue yonder! Loved it without a negative thought! That was until
landing & my wife Irene came up to me to ask? "How are you?" with a death
like expression on her very white face! :-(
You see she knew I would be in a plane, I didn't tell her what for.
OOPS!!!!!!!!!! :-)
So when son Ted went to pick her up to take to the airfield he told her what
I was doing. Upon hearing it she responded? " IS IT NEVER GOING TO END WITH
HIM?" Ted responded.. "Yeah maybe today!" :-)
That didn't make her any happier. 
Upon landing she walked to me standing there with parachute wrapped in arms
& she Offered?
"How do you feel?" Me.. "OK great!" all smiles.  :-)

HER RESPONSE??? "Good I'm glad." Slight smile then she offered...? "I'm glad
you're all OK. However? If you ever do it again even landing safely? Be
assured I "WILL KILL YOU!"  And walked away to her viewing chair. 
I only needed to be warned once and have never jumped again. Hey she was
always a very serious lady when it was required! We never talked about it
again as she had given a fair warning! :-) 

But to jump out the door and all of a sudden yer hanging there in the sky?
AWESOME!AWESOME? :-)

I took a windy walk at the airport this morning.  My cap blew off, but 
that didn't stop the jumpers.  These were tandem jumpers today. Here is 
the return to earth.
