[Leica] IMGS: New and Old Lenses

Tina, to me your approach makes perfect sense.  You have a great camera 
that has AF, but the only available AF lens made for it is huge.  Go to 
Plan B.  Equip it with a small AF lens that will also work with the 
camera.  Rest your eyes and take pictures.
