[Leica] Defunct M9 - Repaired

I decided to have one last-ditch attempt and decided to use the cable release to see if that worked, which it did!!! It was then clear that it was a stuck shutter button which was freed by pulling up on the release, and all is now well. Whether a little grain of dirt had got in there I don’t know, but camera is now as right as rain, and so is my blood pressure.
