[Leica] Chinese Lantern Festival

It is yuuuuge, Douglas, about 60m long.
I believe the show is a commercial one produced by a Chinese company. No literature was available, so I don’t know whether this is a new idea or not (hard to think there are new art forms after 4000 years of Chinese civilization!). I know that there have been others in the U.S. I don’t know of any Chinese community here in the Raleigh area. Lots of Indian and I believe Pakistani attendees at our astronomy club’s monthly public viewings, probably as a result of the three big universities here and the industrial research firms in the Research Triangle Park area, but I don’t think there are many Chinese immigrants.
