There are some fields with large bales around here. They make them then
leave them outside, I am used to them being wrapped in plastic and stacked,
seemingly to rot. There again, not aware of any livestock to eat it in this
vineyard and olive tree area.....

Over here, farmers handle those round bales with tractors that have a large
spike on a front loader. Did you see anything like that in the
neighborhood? Without it, I would think a local farmer would have a hard
time stacking the bales.
