Jim: I like your contributions to the LUG ranging from planes to birds to
"volunteer Morning Glories". captured and interpreted with lenses like the
Takumar 135/3.5. I note with interest (via the Digest) how you seldom travel
far from your Tennessee home. I was a Pentax guy once upon a time. Always
liked their lenses, and have several bodies and lenses in my display case.
You're an enjoyable presence on the LUG, along with other regulars we meet
in cyberspace. (p.s., I've been giving October lectures at the University of
Tennessee at Knoxville every year since 1979, and have photographed and
gotten to know Tennessee in October). Dr Leon Pomeroy, Northern Virginia,

Re: """I awoke to a nice, 60 deg, morning, so I stepped out after breakfast
to
see what was going on. This tiny Downy Woodpecker was making a very
quick visit to the feeder area.

And, though the Buddleia had no visitors, I spotted some small,
volunteer Morning Glories growing on the fence.
