Tina,, why not a S2 ( or whatever the latest incarnation is)?  Price is comparable?  AF.  Bigger pixels = less noise.
And you still have to buy new optics.....at about the same prices.....  Or do you still have R lenses that need a workout?

Obviously none of my business, but I am curious of the choice......

It looks that way.  I'm getting the first lens with the camera.  I can still focus the manual ones but I miss more often than I would like.
