[Leica] Adobe Lightroom's Newest Update

I was on the road so missed the update to 6.2.  So, when I got back I was notified to update and got 6.2.1.  I was surprised by the new import dialog and don’t' like it, like many people.  No Add, no eject card,...   I also cannot export video slide shows.  It gets about 15% through then the whole program just shuts down.  Bye, bye...

Having been a Lightroom used since version 1, and have converted many of my camera club members to Lightroom, I have mixed emotions.  They have done well by me all this time, so I don't feel the need to abandon ship or anything, but I hope they come up with 6.2.2 very soon.  I might just back up to 6.1 for now until they finally get back on track.

a major feature deletion (or addition) with a .x update sounds bogus to me

it doesn’t seem to fit adobe history as i remember it

did they have  REALLY major screw up?

are they downgrading the standalone veersion to force rental of software?

i have a lt of trouble trusting these guys
