thanks Marty, your read is penetrating and it is correct. I will give details, of some interest, in a following e-mail.

I am wondering why the question of permission is raised here for a generic x ray....especially if you "brought in dozens in Yugoslavia".  This question is almost never raised for portraits, which may be "sufficiently distinctive to identify the person"  ill or not".
