Not sure about the glass itself Bob.
I'd guess, at these prices, the best of the best only being sold.
But lens barrels, focusing threads, aperture wheels will be engineered for follow focus wheels automatic stop down hardware ad ons which go on to the professional cine-cameras they're intended for.
A cinematographer needs to follow focus while doing dolly and crane shots;
open and close the shutter while moving from inside to outside; etc. etc.
So these lenses need to adapt to existing cinematographic tool boxes… seamlessly.
